Following an initial enquiry conversation, if we agree that psychodynamic psychotherapy is suitable, we will arrange a time to meet for a period of consultation (1 or 2 meetings). Here you are invited to tell me about your life; your relationships, your childhood and adult years, medical and psychological history, attachments and any other key information you feel is important to share from the outset.
If we both decide that working together will be beneficial to you, we will arrange to meet for 50 minutes at the same time each week. Twice weekly sessions are available, and so too working on zoom which has been felt to be an equally rewarding and meaningful experience.
We can work open ended or time limited depending on what you feel able to commit to and what’s felt to be most appropriate. If psychodynamic psychotherapy is not right for you, we can discuss other therapeutic modalities that might better meet your needs.
